Here, you will dive into the Word of God in context, better understand the life & times of Jesus and visit ancient sites where Bible stories come alive. Understanding how culture, ancient writings, archaeology and much more intersect with the Bible & Jesus is faith renewing and affirming.

Tentative Itinerary
Day 1 - Monday, May 11, 2026
Grab your passport & depart the USA! (Remember, do NOT purchase airfare until the trip is confirmed.)
Day 2 - Tuesday, May 12
Arrive in Israel and on the way to the hotel, view the Way of the Sea. Overnight on the Coast
Day 3 - Wednesday, May 13
Mt Carmel is where we address Elijah and the prophets of Baal and have a time of prayer. We will travel to Jesus’s hometown of Nazareth & view his hometown from Mt Precipice. Next on to Kefar Kedem, an orthodox kibbutz, where we will have a 1stcentury experience! Overnight in Galilee
Day 4 – Thursday, May 14
On our visit to Tel Dan, we will enjoy a hike through a nature preserve where we see the sources of the Jordan River, study Scripture, visit the high place of Dan and city gates from the time of Abraham and Jeroboam. After this stop, the bus will carry us about two miles to Caesarea Philippi, the capital of Philip’s territory and discuss Peter’s great confession of faith.
We will look toward Damascus and read the Road to Damascus story. Next on to the Yigael Alon Museum and a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. We will end the day with an engaging time at the ancient site of Magdala and afterwards, relax in the Magdala hotel. Overnight in Galilee
Day 5 - Friday, May 15 - Erev Shabbat
Today we will travel around the Sea of Galilee. We will stop on the north shore at Korazin and then to Capernaum which was the home base of Jesus’ messianic ministry. The Mount of Beatitudes is also along the shoreline and will be part of our day.
After lunch, we will head to the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee, Mitspeh Nuqeb, where Dr. Nunnally believes the Mark 5 occurred. Next, for those who desire baptism in the Jordan River, we will stop at Yardenit. Overnight in Galilee
Day 6 - Saturday, May 16 - Shabbat
We will pack up and have an early morning ride that will take us to the Judean Wilderness and Dead Sea area. This includes an ascent to the top of Masada, Herod’s greatest fortress, visit the site of Qumran, view the Dead Sea Scrolls caves, Kaliya Beach and a Dead Sea float and the Jerusalem-Jericho Road where we will recall the parable of the Good Samaritan & possibly ride a camel. We will ascend up to Jerusalem to the Mt of Olives to view the Temple Mount at night. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 7 - Sunday, May 17
Our first stop is the Israel Museum, which houses a one-acre model of Jerusalem & the Temple in the time of Jesus. Next, we will tour the Shrine of the Book which houses Israel’s Dead Sea Scrolls and on to the archeological wing of the museum.
Next is Bethlehem, which includes the Church of the Nativity at Manager Square, the Shepherds’ Field and shopping at an olivewood shop. Should Bethlehem not be an option, we will view the town when we travel to/ from the Herodium. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 8 - Monday, May 18 - Temple area day
Today we will visit the Davidson Center and view the Pinnacle of the Temple and the Southern Steps leading to the Temple Mount. Next, a short walk to the Western Wall and take time to pray at the Wall. Lunch & light shopping in the Jewish Quarter is next. Our last museum stop will be the City of David where we will see extensive excavations first-hand and hear engaging accounts of King David and Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 9 - Tuesday, May 19 - Final Days of Jesus
The Church of All Nations is our first stop. Here, we visit the Garden of Gethsemane and discuss the arrest of Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice.
Next stop is the Tower of David where Jesus was brought after His arrest and appeared before Pilate and began His way to the cross. The historical Via Dolorosa is our path to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. On this holy journey, how can we not stop at St. Anne’s Church compound which includes the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed a man unable to walk? The Garden Tomb is our final stop of the day, where we will end our day with prayer in the garden.
After returning to our hotel, we conclude our day together with a celebration dinner @ Notre Dame rooftop restaurant. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 10 - Wednesday, May 20 - Upper Room & Paul’s journey
Mid-morning, we will check out of the hotel in Jerusalem for our final day of exploration in Israel. Next stop is the Upper Room and Jerusalem University College to view an ancient city gate, baptistery and gravesite of Horatio Spafford. (www.juc.edu)
Leaving Jerusalem, we will head to the coast and visit ancient Caesarea where we will focus on King Herod and Peter, Paul and the early Church. We will have dinner at Caesarea and on to the airport. Departure flights should be scheduled March 25 10pm-1:30am March 26.
Day 11 – Thursday, May 21
Arrive in USA
